Science Funding Continued

A small but satisfying funds-bonus mod for KSP 1.12.5, giving you a bit of currency on top of science collection and recovery.

🔧 What is it,

This mod is a continuation / revival of ScienceFunding by Ippo (2014) big thanks to the original author for the idea

Science Funding Continued modifies the game so that every time you collect or transmit science (in Career mode), you receive a funds bonus proportionate to the science gained. Good for keeping things engaging + helping out in early-game funds crunch without breaking balance.

• Updated and tested for KSP 1.12.5
• Configurable parameters (science to funds ratio, recovery vs transmit multipliers, optional caps)
• Separate settings file (settings.cfg) so you can tweak without rebuilding
• Added .version metadata for better compatibility with CKAN / SpaceDock
• Cleaned folder / packaging structure for easier install

⚙️ Installation

Ideally using CKAN, but I'm still waiting for the spacedock index, check there first for sure though

1. Unzip the archive so that the GameData/ScienceFundingContinued/ folder is placed inside your KSP install’s GameData directory.
2. Ensure that the files are really inside GameData/ScienceFundingContinued/ (no extra nesting).
3. In a Career save, go to settings (if configurable) or leave default values, then trigger some science (transmit / recover) to test.
4. If you see funds increase when science is earned, mod is working correctly.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Only works in Career mode (doesn’t give funds in Sandbox or Science mode).
• Default settings are modest; if you want more funds per science, you can edit settings.cfg.
• Because the mod isn’t yet fully indexed in CKAN, you might not find it by name there immediately; manual install works fine in the meantime.
