
This is a updated version of the original BD-FPS mod from SpannerMonkey with compatibility and feature improvements.
DEPENDENCY:
INSTRUCTIONS:
IN EDITOR:
Add Weapons Manager Backpack to a KIS inventory part or KIS inventory of a command pod
Add Weapons to KIS inventory slots
TO EQUIP WEAPONS:
- Go EVA and transfer weapons from where you added them in the editor to your kerbals inventory
- Enable RCS for the kerbal to hold weapons correctly
- Equip FPS Back Pack Weapon Manger
- Equip weapon
- Bring up BD Weapons Manager and select weapon to fire
IMPORTANT: steps 3 and 4 may need to be done repeatedly when first equipping a weapon to get them to work
WHEN CHANGING FROM ONE WEAPON TO ANOTHER:
- Equip new weapon
- Un-equip backpack weapons manger
- Re-equip backpack weapons manger (if the weapon wont rotate, pitch, or fire keep repeating these steps)
HOW TO USE MINI MISSILE:
- Equip the hand held targeting pod
- Lock on to a target
- Equip the missile rail
- Drag a missile from the inventory and mount it to the missile rail by pressing H
- Launch missile from the weapon manager after selecting the missile.
CHANGES:
- Compatibility with current BDArmory
- Improvement to cfg's to make weapons more responsive when aimin
- Custom ammo added to match real world counterparts 5.56 7.62 9mm, etc
- All pistols and rifles have a set amount of rounds per mag and need time to reload
- WWII Helmet now works
KNOWN ISSUES:
- ·Getting weapons to rotate and fire when being equipped can take multiple tries (This is the most annoying issue you will encounter)
- Ammo wont transfer from the weapons backpack to equipped weapons when they run out (No reason why this is)
- AT4-2 launcher fires both rockets at the same time instead of one (Need to research this one)
- M-16 missing texture
