Steering ground vehicles can be challenging. In particular, if you go very fast, even a slight amount of steering may have the potential to flip the vehicle.
This mod gives players more control over how their vehicles steer, by allowing them to adjust steering on individual wheels to reduce the amount they can turn left or right.
Right-click on any steerable wheel or landing gear (either in the editor, or in flight scene). You'll notice there's now a "Steering Limiter" slider, which defaults to 100%.
At 100%, the wheel will behave identically to the normal stock behavior. If you reduce it below 100%, then the wheel will steer less.
If you click the "Steering Mode" button, you can toggle it from "Constant" (the default, described above) to "Adaptive" (in which the wheel can dynamically adjust its steering amount baseed on vehicle speed):
Please see the KSP forum thread for detailed instructions on how to use the mod, in particular the adaptive mode (which is a bit complicated).
There are other features I'd like to add as well... but I'll say no more until they've gelled a bit.
If you have a feature suggestion, though, I'd love to hear it! Please chime in on the mod's forum thread to let me know.
