By default in KSP 2 we get only FXAA... which just doesn't cut it today. This mod adds basic spatial AA (enabling Unity's default FXAA -- what the base game uses -- as well as SMAA), and multiple types of temporal AA: a custom TAA shader which should be the most compatible across hardware, a NVIDIA-specific DLAA setting that should work on all recent RTX GPUs, and an FSR Native AA setting that can work both on the latest AMD GPUs that support FSR 4 (with potentially equivelent-to-DLAA quality), and on all other recent GPUs that support the open-source FSR 3.1 implementation.
In the interest of user awareness, significant parts of this mod were written with the help of GPT 6 Astra and GPT 5.6 Sol. Although I am a software engineer myself, using tools like Codex or Claude Code help to drastically increase the amount of experimentation and root cause determination I can do without the significant manual effort normally required for deep dives into complex, inter-related issues like bugs in legacy shaders, or missing foliage motion vector support (both of which took hours of debugging even with the help of AI). Despite the use of AI, extensive testing of the code itself and manual review was done to ensure the mod works as intended.
The source code and additional documentation of the mod is available on GitHub, and for support for more recent KSP 2 Redux versions (like snapshots), check the GitHub release page.
