With the addition of blackrack's True Volumetric Clouds, the door has been opened for KSP to have a variety of dynamic weather features. SpacePotato's Volumetric Enhancements (SPVE) aims to add more life to the KSP planets by adding additional features on top of the existing clouds to not only improve sightseeing but also to add additional challenges.
DISCLAIMER: THIS VERSION OF SPVE IS DESIGNED FOR VOLUMETRIC CLOUDS V5 - THE LATEST PAID VERSION *If you're looking for SPVE for the latest FREE version of volumetric clouds (V3), please visit here

Features added by SPVE (in a nutshell) - Cirrus clouds to Kerbin, Duna, and Laythe - Volumetric aurora to Kerbin, Duna, Laythe, Jool, and more - Surface ambient noise, from bird songs on Kerbin's grasslands to strong waves on Laythe's oceans. Ambience can be biome dependent - Volumetric rings to Jool and Dres, with rocks present as well - Dynamic weather, including hurricanes, tornadoes, and more!
Full list of additions - Eve * Intermittent fog at low altitudes, partially obscuring a craft's view * Surface ambience (faint wind, distant thunder) * Ocean ambience (soft waves and underwater ambience) * Rare explodium rain * Rarer lightning storms, where the fog gets so thick that you can't see your own hands * Blue aurora - Kerbin * Wispy cirrus clouds at high altitudes * Surface ambience (bird calls and breeze in grasslands, desert wind in deserts, etc) * Ocean ambience (waves and underwater whale calls) * 3 different hurricanes that show up infrequently, with their own ambience and strong rain * Rare stormcells, with tornadoes and hail storms * Volumetric aurora - Duna * Very faint cirrus clouds at high altitudes * Surface ambience, including winds and sparse dust * Lightning added to Duna's dust storms * Rare global dust clouds * Dust devils * Ice fog at the poles * Very faint volumetric aurorae * Meteor showers - Jool * Adjusted the scatterer atmospherer to show the clouds better, resembling KSP2 Jool * Volumetric aurora * Faint rings with volumetrics * Ambient sounds in the atmosphere - Laythe * The skies are much cloudier and rainier * The surface is covered in a thick fog * Lots of light rain on the surface * Thick clouds and fog will fade a way for part of Laythe's year to clear up the skies * Wispy cirrus clouds at high altitudes * Surface ambience (breeze on land, polar wind) * Ocean ambience (waves, underwater noises) * Volumetric polar aurora * Global aurora - Other * Volumetric rings on Dres * Geysers on Vall * Very faint aurora on Tylo * Atmospheric haze on Eeloo * Faint haze on Minmus
