T Coronae Borealis is a binary red giant - white dwarf system about 3000 light years from earth. This mod creates a similar system in KSP, complete with an accretion disk around the white dwarf, a matter bridge that forms ONLY when the stars pass by each other, a stretched model for the red giant that replaces its spherical form when the stars pass by each other, and most importantly:

A SUPERNOVA CLOUD OF MATTER, which grows past all of the planets and turns from a hot white, to a cool red, and then fades. This nova occurs every 5 passes of the stars and is very visible from any planet in the planet pack.

The accretion disk and matter stream are both formed out of particles which flow from one star to the other.

This is my first planet pack and I plan to update it sometime in the future with more planets. I wanted to release it now because the real life T CrB system is expected to supernova later this year (becoming the 50th brightest star in the sky), something that only happens about every 100 years.

There is 1 gas giant, 2 similar to kerbin sized planets, and one moon in this pack. The most notable planet is Iridon, a superkerbin with an ocean of lava and 2 small continent sized volcanic islands.

Requirements (IMPORTANT): - Kopernicus - ParallaxContinued (do not remove StockTerrainTextures folder) - TextureReplacer - ScaledDecorator - Scatterer - VertexColorMapEmissive - VertexHeightOblateAdvanaced - Vertex Mitchell-Netravali Filtered Heightmap - Advanced PQS Tools - Burst PQS

BLACKRACK'S VOLUMETRIC CLOUDS are highly recommended for the gas giant.
