A moons pack that adds 3 new moons to Kerbin and reorganizes the orbits of the stock moons (Mun and Minmus). All moons have biomes and scientific definitions, along with custom scatter for each body.
The moons:
Oero - An ancient shepherd moon with an oblate shape, orbiting very close to Kerbin in a retrograde trajectory, this moon looks like a walnut
Oseuq - A relatively large moon orbiting between Mun and Minmus, this moon has a striking rust-red color with white mountains, a giant inactive volcano, and, of course, its main attraction: mercury lakes! 13.5 times denser than water.
Mummun - A small sub-moon orbiting Oseuq is similar to Mun in appearance and composition. It is considered one of the best places for photos in space!
Dependencies:
Kopernicus
Niako's Kopernicus Utilities
VertexHeightOblateAdvanced
CTTP
Supports:
Final Frontier
EVE/Scatterer (The moons can cast and have eclipses)
Principia
SCANsat
How to install:
Just unzip the "KerbalizedMoons" file and drag the "Oseuq" folder into GameData
Know issues:
Oero and Mummun have "seam lines" in the scaled version; this does not affect the terrain in any way.
The scaled version of Oero presents this strange triangular terrain in the equator when viewed from a polar perspective; again, this does not affect the terrain in any way, it is a visual issue in the scaled version.
Oseuq has 'crystal-clear' oceans; when you are submerged in them, you can see the entire ocean floor. Basically, there is no ocean fog, just a visual thing.
This is actually a KSP problem that does not occur exclusively in this pack, as Laythe and Eve also exhibit this issue. When you swim towards the shore while in the lakes with a kerbal, the kerbal keeps stuttering. This does not make swimming impossible, it is just a bit annoying.
This is my first planet pack, I tried to make a good and polish work, I intend to update it, so keep an eye out if you liked this mod.
