Natural Ocean 0.2.0
for Kerbal Space Program 1.12.x

A sea of its own for every world that has one: waves raised by the wind the weather has,
swell from elsewhere, white water where they break, surf where the bottom shelves, seaweed
in the shallows, craft that ride the waves, and water that a camera can go half under.

A FIRST SEA, NOT A FINISHED ONE
From a boat's deck in a fresh wind it reads as a sea at a glance; it does not yet stand
beside a photograph of one. A breaking crest is white laid on a smooth wave; fresh foam
is too clean; the water is one blue; what floats leaves foam but no wake; from the air it
mirrors a plain sky. The mod's page says the rest.

INSTALL
This mod needs Keystone 0.8 or later, the base it stands on, a separate download:
    https://spacedock.info/mod/4665/Keystone
Copy Keystone's folder (Keystone) into your KSP's GameData folder, and the NaturalOcean
folder from this download beside it, and start the game. Without Keystone the game does
not load this mod. One copy of Keystone serves every mod that uses it. To remove this
  mod, delete the NaturalOcean folder.

USE
  It is on as installed. With the Natural Weather mod the sea goes by the weather's wind;
without it, by a light breeze. Its settings are in the Keystone window (the keystone
button on the game's toolbar, or Option-K on a Mac and Alt-K elsewhere), on the page
Natural Ocean: how rough, how clear the water is, whether craft ride the waves, seaweed,
and whether the other seas are put out of sight where this one is drawn.

BESIDE OTHER MODS
Where this sea is drawn the game's own is not, and Scatterer's is drawn with nothing of
it showing; Scatterer's settings are never touched. Beside other mods that draw the sea
  it has not been tried.

WHERE IT WORKS
Made and looked at on a Mac (with Scatterer), and tried on Windows 11 on Direct3D 11
and on OpenGL (without Scatterer): the sea from the shore, in a breeze and in a storm,
the surf, the camera half under water and under it, a splashdown. Its four shaders are
packed for the game's OpenGL and built for Direct3D. What 0.2.0 changed (a sea that is
never flat, rain on it, the sea from afar, the big splash of a crash) has been tried on
the Mac only; its shaders are built for Direct3D but have not been looked at there.
Nobody has run it on Linux yet.
