Natural Light 0.10.4
for Kerbal Space Program 1.12.x

Light as it really falls: from the sky and the ground in their own colours, from the other
worlds in the sky, from a low sun that stays golden, from the flame of an engine, and by
night from floodlights at the launch sites, the runway's lamps and the space centre's lit
windows, instead of from the sun and one flat grey alone.
And the picture developed as film would be: bright things glow instead of going blank white,
light and shade are strong while the colours stay those of the light, and the camera's eye
follows the brightness of the view.

INSTALL
This mod needs Keystone, the base it stands on, which is a separate download:
    https://spacedock.info/mod/4665/Keystone
Copy Keystone's folder (Keystone) into your KSP's GameData folder, and the NaturalLight
folder from this download beside it, and start the game. Without Keystone the game does
not load this mod. One copy of Keystone serves every mod that uses it. To remove this
  mod, delete the NaturalLight folder.

USE
It is on as installed. Its settings are in the Keystone window: the keystone button on the
game's toolbar, or Option-K on a Mac and Alt-K elsewhere. Then turn to Natural Light. Each
part of it can be turned down or off by itself; the first setting puts all of it out.

Nights are dark, as they are: "Darkest" raises the least light there is, if they are too
  dark to fly in.

THE FILM LOOK NEEDS TUFX
The glow, the film curve, the contrast and the camera's eye are done by the TUFX mod's
post-processing (get TUFX from CKAN or its own page), as a layer over whatever TUFX profile
you use. Without TUFX the lights still work and the picture is the game's own.

WHERE IT WORKS
Made and tried on a Mac, and tried on Windows 11: the lights at night, the shafts of
sunlight (its shaders are built for Direct3D as well as packed for OpenGL), the film look
with TUFX and the veil of weather with a weather mod. Where the searchlights stand
(0.10.3) and the camera's eye under cloud (0.10.4) came after that and have been tried on
the Mac only. Nobody has run it on Linux yet. It works beside Scatterer and EVE. Do not
use it together with PlanetShine or another mod that sets the game's ambient light: they
  would fight.
