**Nature's Fury**
Author: Lamina, best wishes from the cold North.

Nature's Fury is a weather mod for Kerbal Space Program that brings tornadoes, wind, rain and a living ocean to Kerbin, all driven by the EVE volumetric clouds.

**Features**

* Volumetric tornadoes, waterspouts and dust devils. They are born from thunderstorm clouds, mature and decay, pull vessels in and throw them around. Lighter craft are affected more than heavy ones.
* Wind with gusts and turbulence at different heights. The air is calm under a clear sky; squalls, downpours and lightning come with the storm clouds.
* A physical FFT ocean. The real wind raises the waves smoothly, from flat calm up to the "Monster" sea. Includes buoyancy, spray, rain rings on the water and surf along the shores (the shoreline can be switched off).
* EVE rain carried by the wind. Drops and rivulets on the cockpit glass leave wet trails and run with the airflow, or down the glass when standing still.
* Tornado light: everything goes dim under the storm, with a bright band of sky behind the funnel.
* Wind and sea ambience that rises and fades smoothly with the weather.
* In-game settings window in English and Russian: Normal / Realism / Hardcore modes, quality presets and a full expert section.
* ToolbarController / Blizzy Toolbar support, stock toolbar otherwise. No hotkeys.

**Requirements**

* KSP 1.12.x (built for 1.12.5)
* EVE Volumetric Clouds v5
* Module Manager
* Recommended: SpacePotato's Volumetric Enhancements (SPVE)
* Optional: Scatterer, ToolbarController

Developed and tested on KSP 1.12.5 with EVE Volumetric Clouds v5, SPVE, Scatterer, Parallax Continued, Kopernicus, TUFX and Waterfall.
Test system: Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i5-13400F, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 8 GB.
On weaker GPUs, use the "Fast" quality preset.
This is an experimental project provided as is, without any warranty. Bugs, FPS drops and compatibility issues may occur. Back up your saves.
Some parts of the code were written and improved with the help of a neural network.
The work was inspired by the Crest ocean system for Unity.
The mod will keep evolving as much as possible.
License: MIT. The original tornado sources are by Erik Nordeus (Habrador), MIT (HABRADOR_LICENSE.txt).
Nature's Fury ships no files of EVE, SPVE or Scatterer; it only reads the clouds at run time.
If the mod is useful in your modpack, project, video or stream, I would be very happy and grateful if you mentioned the author. This is not a requirement, just a friendly request.

РУССКИЙ
-------
Торнадо, водяные смерчи, пылевые вихри; ветер, турбулентность, шквалы и фронты от облаков EVE;
физический FFT-океан с плавучестью, где волны поднимает настоящий ветер (до «Монстра»);
дождь EVE, несомый ветром; кольца дождя на воде; капли и струйки на стекле кабины;
звуки ветра и моря. (Бывшие моды KSP Tornado / Volumetric Storm и OceanWaves — теперь один мод.)

Зависимости
  Обязательно:
  - Kerbal Space Program 1.12.x
  - EVE Volumetric Clouds v5 (автор blackrack) — облака, дождь, грозы: по ним мод строит всю погоду.
  - ModuleManager
  - StockVolumetricClouds (blackrack) — облака для EVE Volumetric Clouds v5.
  Рекомендуется:
  - SpacePotato's Volumetric Enhancements (SPVE), автор TheSpacePotato

  - Если стоят старые моды — удалите GameData/KSPHabradorTornado и GameData/OceanWaves

(GameData/NaturesFury/PluginData/settings.txt).

ENGLISH

Dependencies
  Required:
  - Kerbal Space Program 1.12.x
  - EVE Volumetric Clouds v5 (by blackrack): clouds, rain and thunderstorms - all of the weather is built from them.
  - ModuleManager
  - StockVolumetricClouds (blackrack): the clouds for EVE Volumetric Clouds v5.
  Recommended:
  - SpacePotato's Volumetric Enhancements (SPVE) by TheSpacePotato
  Optional:
  - Scatterer: its ocean is switched off automatically (ScattererCompat.cfg).
  - ToolbarController: for a Blizzy toolbar button; otherwise the stock toolbar is used.
  Nature's Fury ships no files of EVE, StockVolumetricClouds, SPVE or Scatterer and never edits
  their configs: it only reads the clouds at run time.

Install
  - Copy GameData/NaturesFury into your KSP GameData folder.
  - Remove the old GameData/KSPHabradorTornado and GameData/OceanWaves if present.

In game
  - The Nature's Fury toolbar button (in flight) opens the window. No hotkeys.
  - Basics: Normal / Realism / Hardcore mode, quality presets, wind, rain and glass, sea (shoreline
    on/off), sound, screen. "All settings" for the rest; the "Sea" button opens the ocean window.

Credits / Благодарности
